Local Man Dies In B.C. Avalanche |

One of the men who died in Saturday's massive avalanche near Revelstoke was from Strathmore.
33 year old Kurtis Reynolds along with his business partner Shay Snortland were killed on Boulder mountain when a massive wall of snow came down the hill catching many of the 200 snowmobilers and many of the spectators watching the unsanctioned event which was a competition to see which snowmobiler could climb the highest on the mountain. 31 people were sent to hospital one remains in critical condition. |
