The Town of Turner Valley is taking a wait and see approach to news Black Diamond residents will vote in a plebiscite on whether or not to give a quarter of a million dollars to the new Sheep River Library.

Mayor Dona Fluter says they need to hear specifically from town officials in Black Diamond.

She says "What we're hearing right now is we've heard from the media and through the grapevine that a decision was made. What we're waiting on is official information with the accurate reference to their motion and whatnot. Then we'll know what we're dealing with."

Fluter says in the meantime it's business as usual with the new library as the construction continues.
