Proud of its history, you'll find that the Foothills boast a large number of local museums, historic sites, and heritage exhibits telling the tale of the early days. Many focus on the ranching, oil, and gas industries that brought prosperity to the region. The Foothills area has been and continues to be used by the film industry as it provides beautiful vistas with a true heritage appeal. Our Southern Alberta foothills are proud of everything we offer!
